Job Summary
We are seeking a Head of Marine Engineering Claims to join our team in London. As a key member of our claims leadership team, you will be responsible for the management and adjustment of all marine, engineering, and specialty claims, ensuring a high-quality claims service that meets the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and adjust marine, engineering, and specialty claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Participate in regular leadership and underwriting meetings, providing feedback on policy wordings and market losses.
- Represent the company in claims meetings and discussions, both in the UK and worldwide.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Sound business knowledge and understanding of insurance practice, generic legal principles, FCA rules and regulations, and Lloyd's regulations.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in claims management and adjustment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
