Job Title: Head of Marine, Engineering & Specialty Claims

Munich Re is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Marine, Engineering, and Specialty Claims team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and adjusting claims, providing a quality claims service, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and adjust Marine, Engineering, and Specialty claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Lead and participate in regular leadership and underwriting meetings, providing feedback on policy wordings and market losses.
  • Represent Munich Re in claims meetings and discussions, both in the UK and worldwide.

Requirements:

  • Sound business knowledge and understanding of insurance practice, generic legal principles, FCA rules, and Lloyd's regulations.
  • Proven experience in claims management, leadership, and underwriting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
