Resident Engagement Officer

A Resident Liaison Officer is needed for a leading main contractor to join their team delivering Planned Works within the Social Housing sector in Norfolk and North Essex areas. The successful candidate will work closely with a public sector client, therefore previous experience working for a main contractor on similar projects is ideal but not required as training given on the job.
Job Description
As a Resident Liaison Officer, your primary responsibility will be to develop positive relationships with residents to provide information and support during refurbishment, maintenance, and major works programmes. This includes preventing and limiting dissatisfaction, resolving complaints and queries quickly, and acting as the main point of contact and dealing with any problems/queries that the tenant may have. You will also need to collect tenancy agreement/approval forms, visit tenants in their homes, and establish working relations with neighbourhood housing associations. Additionally, you will visit properties that are being refurbished with potential tenants, and attend and chair tenant forum meetings to advise tenants of works being carried out.
