Lignacite are a Concrete Block manufacturer, based in Brandon and Nazeing, supplying the Merchant, Building Contractor and Housing Developer Channels within the Construction Industry. Our markets are East Anglia, London and the South East.
We engage with all these plus additional stakeholders such as Architects, Local Authorities and so on.
We are looking for an office-based person to be responsible for, initially, all of our social media activity across three platforms and the Website. We currently focus on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
This role would be responsible for the building of, development, and posting of all social media bursts. They would also be responsible for the preparation (photography, imagery, copy and so on) to enable this.
They would be responsible for working with our third party contributors and agencies in ensuring the posts are reflective of our brand message, relevance and engaging with our customer base.
This role will have responsibility to ensure the website is maintained and up to date.
This position is one that we see as a progressive role, with the final role being Marketing Manager for the business in due time, and Lignacite would support the individual in developing themselves to enable this to happen.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the office-based role will be at Norfolk House in Brandon, Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5pm. Travel will be involved, we have another site in Nazeing, plus meeting our agencies.
We are seeking an individual that has Social media experience working within a current business that is looking to expand their role and develop into a Marketing Manager. Those that do not have experience of working the Social Media Channels for a current business will not be progressed.
Full training will be provided.
Education & Training:
- Must have achieved a GCSE grade of C or above (or equivalent) in Math’s and English.
- Able to speak and write English fluently.
**Knowledge & Experience**:
- Experience of using WordPress, LinkedIn Apps and Hootsuite would be a bonus.
**Skills & Abilities**:
- Good communication skills
- Interpersonal skills, - ability to adapt to the differing types of customers
- Computer literate
- Able to work independently with little supervision.

Pay: £27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
