About the Role

City Health Care Partnership is seeking a skilled Part-Time Band 3 Senior Admin Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Speech and Language Therapy Operations Manager and Clinical Team Leader in delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Supervise junior staff, bank staff, or apprentices to ensure seamless team coordination.

The role involves:

  • Patient enquiries and referral management, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Appointment booking and diary management, utilizing efficient scheduling techniques.
  • Minute taking, filing, typing, and placing orders, maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinating meetings, including multidisciplinary meetings, promoting collaboration.
  • Assisting with performance reporting, analyzing data to drive improvement.

We require:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service (or equivalent), demonstrating strong theoretical knowledge.
  • Word processing skills to OCR 2 standard, showcasing proficiency in document preparation.
Desirable Skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of administration procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, enhancing productivity.
Experience
  • Previous experience in an office environment and general office procedures, applying practical skills.
  • Working with the general public and supervising teams, fostering effective communication.
  • Experience with SystmOne functions and previous NHS experience, leveraging existing expertise.

This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.

Estimated salary: £23,023 - £26,355 per annum (pro rata for part-time).
