Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Administrative Support Specialist to join the Administration Team within our Community Diagnostic Service based at Hull University Teaching Hospital.

This role involves providing administrative support to manage end-to-end clinical administrative processes associated with patient pathways, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for both multidisciplinary teams and patients.

The work is varied and demanding, requiring accuracy, adaptability, and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. As a Clinical Administrative Support Specialist, you will be involved in the end-to-end patient pathway, providing administrative support to your line managers within Administration and the wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration team to manage clinical administrative processes
  • Provide administrative support to manage patient pathways
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
  • Prioritise competing workloads to meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a similar administrative role
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing demands
