About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our Street Care team at Totally Local Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our streets, parks, and public spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleansing: You will be responsible for undertaking cleansing duties allocated by your supervisor, adhering to agreed procedures and standards.
  • Grounds Maintenance: You will undertake general maintenance duties in various areas, including green spaces, highway verges, landscaped areas, and public amenities.
  • General: You will assist in winter maintenance duties, including manual gritting, filling, and siting of grit bins, as well as snow and ice clearance.
Requirements
  • You will hold a C1 driving license and be able to drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes.
  • You will have experience in working to and achieving operational targets.
  • You will have the ability to maintain high-quality horticultural features and achieve street cleansing standards.
  • You will have knowledge and understanding of street cleansing/horticultural standards, working methods, and equipment deployed within the Greenspace and Street care service.
