We are seeking a skilled and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our Street Care team at Totally Local Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating a range of mechanical equipment, including gardening and street cleansing machinery, to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our public spaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake cleansing duties, including sweeping, cleaning, litter picking, and emptying litter bins, to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
- Operate a range of mechanical equipment, including gardening and street cleansing machinery, to maintain public spaces and ensure they are safe and accessible for the public.
- Work as part of a team to achieve operational targets and maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Assist in the recycling of waste collected and undertake winter maintenance duties, including manual gritting and snow/ice clearance, as required.
- Report any matters concerning the maintenance of a clean environment and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
- C1 driving licence and ability to drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes.
- Experience in working to and achieving operational targets.
- Ability to maintain high quality horticultural features and achieve street cleansing standards.
- Knowledge and understanding of street cleansing/horticultural standards, working methods, and equipment deployed within the Greenspace and Street care service.
