At Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, we are excited to offer an opportunity for dynamic and visionary midwives to join our established team. This role is ideal for newly qualified and experienced midwives looking to take their career to the next level.

The successful candidate will have experience in all aspects of midwifery care and be able to work with women in antenatal care, during labour and postnatally. They will be responsible for providing high-quality, effective midwifery care on a day-to-day basis, working within all areas of the maternity unit.

The post holder must be flexible, innovative and resourceful with excellent organisational skills, a team player with high personal standards of care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Caseload management
  • MLU shift lead/care of those birthing on the MLU
  • Antenatal/postnatal appointments
  • Homebirth provision
  • Intrapartum care in variety of settings for caseloaded women

A practicing healthcare professional who is able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based care with a passion for specialising in low-risk labour care. The post holder will carry out a range of clinical skills in midwifery practice within the team, whilst working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to give individualised, holistic care to meet the needs of women and their families.

This role requires a Registered Midwife with active NMC PIN and mentorship experience. A salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role and the trust's commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.
