Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in routine and complex surgeries, ensuring the highest standards of care and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide nursing support during consultations and examinations, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Monitor inpatients, including anesthesia, pain management, and recovery, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed, maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Educate clients on pet health and preventative care, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Maintain the practice's high clinical standards and cleanliness, upholding the reputation of GLG Vets.

About You:

  • You are an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, ideally with experience in both surgery and consulting.
  • You possess a compassionate and empathetic approach, with a strong desire to provide exceptional care for animals.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve outstanding results.
  • You are an effective communicator, able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, and demonstrate a positive attitude towards continuous professional development.
