New Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Lead to join our team and play a key role in the delivery of a 12-month project to update our case management system.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a detailed plan for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from the old system to the new case management system, ensuring that the data being migrated is clean, accurate, and complete.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a comprehensive data migration plan, including data mapping documentation and data quality assessment.
  2. Collaborate with IT, business analysts, and test teams to ensure that data migration aligns with the new system's requirements.
  3. Identify and mitigate potential risks in the data migration process, such as data loss or corruption.
  4. Oversee the actual migration process, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  5. Conduct post-migration audits and checks to ensure that all data has been correctly transferred and is functioning as expected in the new system.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data migration planning and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of data mapping documentation and data quality assessment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate potential risks in the data migration process.
