Job Role: HGV Technician

Located in Edinburgh, we are seeking an experienced HGV Maintenance Specialist to join our team at TLP. This is a full-time/permanent role with working hours of Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 16:00 and 10:00 to 19:00.

The hourly rate for this position is £19.22. Overtime is paid at £28.83 per hour on Mondays to Saturdays and £38.44 per hour on Sundays and bank holidays. A bank holiday worked will be rewarded with an extra day's holiday in lieu.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs)
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with HGVs
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations

Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience as a HGV technician
  • Strong knowledge of HGV mechanics and diagnostics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
