Department: Student Wellbeing
Reporting to the Head of Student Wellbeing, this role will oversee the newly combined Disability Operations Team within Student Wellbeing. This team encompasses both the Needs Assessment Centre and Register of Support Providers, responsible for facilitating funded disability support for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the operational aspects of the Disability Operations Team, ensuring efficient delivery of services to students.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with funding bodies, adhering to all guidelines and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and financial processing to ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders, providing transparent updates on team performance and service delivery.
- Provide strategic direction for the Disability Operations Team, driving continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing student support.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in managing operational teams within a higher education or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of disability legislation and funding frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
