Support Worker

Horizon Teachers are seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Specialist to join their team in a North London secondary school.
About the Role:
As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will provide one-on-one support to students with challenging behaviour, working closely with teachers and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students with challenging behaviour
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour management plans
- Support students to develop social and emotional skills, including self-regulation and self-awareness
Requirements:
You will have a passion for working with young people, particularly those with challenging behaviour. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A background in education or a related field would be advantageous, as would experience working with students with challenging behaviour.
