Job Title: Senior Regulatory Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Lawyer to join our in-house legal team at LAW Absolute. As a Senior Regulatory Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in leading our company's compliance function and driving organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the subject matter expert on day-to-day health & safety, food safety, and general regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Undertake audits on company processes, practices, and internal guidelines to identify risk/threat areas.
  • Lead on regulation updates and legislative changes, ensuring compliance across operations, supply chains, and stores.
  • Lead on key projects within the company, focusing on risk and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Lawyer with UK or commonwealth experience.
  • Previous experience in regulatory/compliance/health and safety, with a strong track record of working with regulators.
  • Strong report writing skills to produce reports/user guidance notes.
  • Ability to lead robust conversations and push back on regulators.
  • Hybrid working policy in place, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
