We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Organic Growth team at Polaris, a leading community of children's service providers. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving our plans to develop new schools, providing outstanding education to our young people across our community.
Key Responsibilities- Support the identification of potential new sites and manage the establishment of new schools from purchase through to opening.
- Ensure all construction and refurbishments are in accordance with the Building Safety Act and regulatory requirements.
- Manage projects to agreed timeframes and budgets, building and establishing a suitable contractor base to minimize project downtime.
- Assess and procure all required works for new buildings, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations, the Building Safety Act, and Independent Schools Standards.
- Work closely with education specialists to ensure regulatory compliance (Ofsted, LA, etc.) and ensure schools open within scheduled timescales.
- Develop and maintain project plans and reporting documentation to ensure timely communication and successful delivery of assigned projects.
- 1-5 years post-Project Management qualification experience (all levels of post-qualification experience will be considered).
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of RICS requirements and all relevant legislation.
- Proven excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
- Previous line management experience in a similar role.
- Experience in stakeholder management and budgets.
- Possess a full valid driving license.
