Employment Tax Associate Director

We are seeking an experienced Employment Tax Associate Director to join our team at RSM UK. As a key member of our National Employer Solutions Service Line, you will work closely with our Employment Tax, Global Mobility, and Share Scheme experts to deliver exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advisory and compliance services within Employment Tax to a wide range of clients, building strong relationships and collaborating with senior staff members.
- Lead a dedicated team, delegating tasks, mentoring, and nurturing their professional growth, while identifying talent and providing development opportunities.
- Contribute to training and development activities, providing constructive feedback to strengthen team performance.
- Advising on and managing the delivery of advisory projects, including international working tax advisory work, and identifying tax planning opportunities.
- Brief junior staff on client business and pre-project instructions, supervising and controlling work, and undertaking 'on the job' training and appraisals.
- Manage a portfolio of tax compliance and advisory clients, liaising and building relationships, and practicing excellent client service.
- Maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge through reading and courses, ensuring clients' tax affairs comply with statutory requirements and fulfilling professional bodies' CPD requirements.

We are looking for an individual with strong experience in Employment Tax, effective team management skills, and a passion for team development and relationship management. The ideal candidate will have the ability to people manage, focusing on building and developing individuals, and spotting existing talent within the team.
Requirements:
- Specialist Employment Tax/Global Mobility knowledge and the ability to deal with complex tax issues.
- Project management experience, with the ability to ensure deadlines are met.
