We are seeking an experienced Employment Tax Associate Director to join our team at RSM UK. As a key member of our National Employer Solutions Service Line, you will work closely with our Employment Tax, Global Mobility, and Share Scheme experts to deliver exceptional client service.
As a leader in our team, you will be responsible for providing advisory and compliance services to a wide range of clients. This will involve building strong relationships, mentoring and developing junior staff, and identifying opportunities for tax planning and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a dedicated team of tax professionals, delegating tasks and mentoring staff to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Contribute to the development of training and development activities for the team and across the office.
- Advising on and managing the delivery of advisory projects to clients, including international working tax advisory work.
- Identify and advise on tax planning opportunities, working with specialist technical colleagues as required.
- Brief junior staff on client projects, supervising and controlling the completion of work, and undertaking 'on the job' training and appraisals.
- Manage a portfolio of tax compliance and advisory clients, liaising and building relationships with clients to deliver excellent service.
- Maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge through reading and courses, ensuring clients' tax affairs comply with statutory requirements.
We are looking for an individual with strong experience in Employment Tax, effective team management skills, and a passion for team development and relationship management. You will have the ability to people manage, focusing on building and developing individuals, and spotting existing talent within the team.
You will also have specialist Employment Tax/Global Mobility knowledge and the ability to deal with complex tax issues, as well as project management experience with the ability to ensure deadlines are met.
