Financial Planning and Analysis Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Business Partner to join our team at GSF Car Parts, one of the UK's leading automotive parts distributors. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting business planning and decision-making across the organization.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly cost centre P&L reports, working closely with the accounts department to identify and address any discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, including liaison with budget holders to update forecasts and internal models for all areas of overhead costs.
- Prepare and present PowerPoint presentation slides explaining overhead costs, P&Ls, budgets, and forecasts to stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on network productivity, ensuring the accuracy of data in our reporting software.
- Analyse payroll versus budget, create forecasts, people planning, and productivity by branch.
- Calculate monthly bonuses for the network and forecast changes to schemes.
- Manage CAPEX spend, tracking, forecasting, and measuring against budget, ensuring budget holders follow process and spend within limits.
- Review business cases for investment CAPEX and ensure quality of ROI calculations prior to management review.
- Support budget holders in identifying efficiency opportunities through data analysis and modelling, proposing solutions to problems faced within the network.
- Implement process and reporting improvements to drive efficiency, moving manual reporting into software-based solutions.
- Support with ad hoc investment models and analysis to aid investment decisions.
We are looking for an ambitious candidate with a strong science or analytical background, preferably with a degree in Maths, Science, IT, Economics, Business, or Engineering. You should be a self-starter with a desire to learn fast and take on new challenges, with strong personal skills and the ability to interact effectively with budget holders and management.
