Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with our teaching staff to provide individualized support to students with complex learning difficulties. This will involve developing and implementing personalized learning plans, providing emotional support, and assisting with daily living tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with Autism and complex learning difficulties in a small class setting
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of individual students
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students to help them develop social and communication skills
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and feeding
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Recent UK TA experience
  • NVQ L2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools
  • GCSE Maths & English grades A-C
  • Experience supporting learners with autism and complex learning difficulties
  • Good BM Skills
