About the Role

Asper Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sales Estimating Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the sales and estimating functions, ensuring that tenders are submitted to requirements and identifying areas of competitive advantage within tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the sales and estimating departments to ensure they are fully loaded servicing enquiries.
  2. Identify areas of competitive advantage within tenders and review tender pricing with estimators to ensure the most competitive approach.
  3. Collate bills for tender submission if required and manage the system for follow up of tenders submitted.
  4. Liaise with Contracts Managers regarding enquiries that have originated from contacts made by the Contracts Team.
  5. Responsible for promoting discussion with the Contracts Team regarding these enquiries so that the best approach can be made in terms of policy and contact etc.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and estimating roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience.
