About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our Children's Residential Team. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our young people, while also leading by example and mentoring our support workers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a team in residential care, with a strong understanding of OFSTED regulations and the ability to implement them effectively. You will be responsible for planning team rotas, supporting the Deputy and Home Manager in various meetings and appointments, and meeting the needs of our children and young people in line with OFSTED regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of support workers in providing high-quality care and support to our children and young people
  • Plan and implement team rotas to ensure effective coverage and support
  • Support the Deputy and Home Manager in various meetings and appointments
  • Meet the needs of our children and young people in line with OFSTED regulations
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager as required
Requirements
  • Experience in leading a team in residential care
  • Strong understanding of OFSTED regulations
  • Ability to implement OFSTED regulations effectively
  • Qualifications in NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
