Financial Accountant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our Finance team at Watches of Switzerland Group. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Accounts team with various accounting tasks, including:
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, such as prepayments and accruals
- Journal entries
- Vendor setup
- Fixed asset accounting
- Treasury tasks
On an ad hoc basis, you will also support with accounts preparation and liaison with internal and external stakeholders on matters such as audit support.
About You
- You have a degree in a relevant field or strong A-level results
- You are eager to start a career in financial accounting and willing to study for an accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA, or CIMA
- You possess excellent IT skills, including full competence with Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new systems
- You have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- You are able to manage your own workload and possess strong prioritization skills
- You have a positive, professional attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with the company
