Claims Handler Role
We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our team at Ardonagh Advisory. As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in providing an effective and efficient claims service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a designated caseload of claims from cradle to grave, liaising with clients, insurers, claimants, policyholders, brokers, and other experts.
- Refer claims outside of your authority levels to your line manager.
- Gather and process information to support the assessment of complex cases.
- Assist in the training of new staff in company systems and processes.
- Develop personal knowledge and skills through ongoing training and development.
- Conduct business in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to company procedures and policies.
- Manage potential conflicts of interest and ensure fair treatment of customers.
- Undertake other tasks as required by the company.
Requirements
- Experience in dealing with motor, liability, and property-related claims.
- Excellent customer care experience.
- General Insurance principles and practice.
- Strong work ethic and time management skills.
- Class of risk, product, and market knowledge.
- General Insurance regulation and business ethics.
- IT proficiency.
- Numeracy and Literacy.
