Claims Handler Role

We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our team at Ardonagh Advisory. As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in providing an effective and efficient claims service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a designated caseload of claims from cradle to grave, liaising with clients, insurers, claimants, policyholders, brokers, and other experts.
  • Refer claims outside of your authority levels to your line manager.
  • Gather and process information to support the assessment of complex cases.
  • Assist in the training of new staff in company systems and processes.
  • Develop personal knowledge and skills through ongoing training and development.
  • Conduct business in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to company procedures and policies.
  • Manage potential conflicts of interest and ensure fair treatment of customers.
  • Undertake other tasks as required by the company.

Requirements

  • Experience in dealing with motor, liability, and property-related claims.
  • Excellent customer care experience.
  • General Insurance principles and practice.
  • Strong work ethic and time management skills.
  • Class of risk, product, and market knowledge.
  • General Insurance regulation and business ethics.
  • IT proficiency.
  • Numeracy and Literacy.
