This is an exciting opportunity to take on a newly created Financial Controller role within a highly acquisitive, high-growth private equity-backed business. Based in Selby, this position will work closely with the FD and CFO to ensure financial control across the function and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Statutory Accounts Production: Ensure the production of Group statutory accounts, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
  2. Audit Management: Manage audit processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  3. International Reporting & Compliance: Oversee European and US reporting, as well as adoption of new accounting standards and technical rules to support international reporting.
  4. Management Reporting: Provide financial accounting expertise into management information, enabling informed business decisions.
  5. Financial Modelling: Develop financial models to facilitate reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  6. Group Accounts Consolidation: Consolidate group accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical accounting background, combined with commercial acumen and analytical skills. A minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience is required, along with good knowledge of IFRS and CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualifications.

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous package, you will enjoy:
