Senior Accounts Manager

This dynamic and multifaceted accounting position offers a pathway to a range of stimulating career prospects. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of financial statements, taxation, and comprehensive accountancy services for a diverse and engaging client base.

Daily Responsibilities
- Collaborating with innovative clients who are expanding their enterprises and require expert advice and support from reliable consultants.
- Managing the preparation of annual financial statements and tax calculations for both corporate and non-corporate entities.
- Handling the preparation and filing of self-assessment tax returns.
- Gaining exposure to various capital taxation matters, including inheritance tax and capital gains tax.
- Ensuring that clients' financial records are accurately maintained and regularly updated.
- Overseeing the preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
- Managing the completion of subcontractor returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Adhering to internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Drafting client correspondence and liaising with tax authorities via phone and email.
- Providing a range of administrative and business setup services for clients.
- Mentoring and guiding less experienced team members, including training students.
Candidate Profile
- ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified or equivalent experience (candidates currently in training will also be considered).
- Proficient in preparing accounts for partnerships, LLPs, and limited companies.
- Knowledgeable about personal and corporate tax regulations, as well as VAT and PAYE.
- Experienced with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QBO.
- Able to maintain composure and efficiency under pressure, responding to client inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Professional, confident, and team-oriented in approach.
