Job Description

At Mellis Blue Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to take on a challenging role and make a significant contribution to our organization.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including import of client data, BACS payments, and compliance with tax and NIC legislation. They will also be responsible for applying statutory forms and tax documents, as well as creating invoices and handling related queries.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work independently while being part of a team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and be able to multitask effectively. They will also have strong knowledge of payroll legislation and be familiar with umbrella/CIS/limited company industry concepts.

We estimate that the salary for this position will be around £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for payroll administration, we encourage you to apply for this role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To ensure timely completion of dedicated payrolls from import of client data through to BACS payments.
  • To maintain compliance with tax and NIC legislation.
  • To apply statutory forms and tax documents.
  • To create invoices and handle related queries.
  • To handle telephone and email payroll queries.
  • To administer expenses, including processing and checking.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with umbrella/CIS/limited company industry concepts.
