Stock Administrator

Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Stock Administrator to join our team in a full-time permanent position.
As a Stock Administrator, you will be responsible for providing accurate stock administration, reconciling actual stock against system stock, investigating discrepancies, and escalating non-conformance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an independent, accurate, and up-to-date stock record.
- Resolve discrepancies between expected and actual figures when they occur.
- Create disposal orders and communicate with customers.
- Liaise with the warehouse to solve stock issues.
- Update and maintain a record of shortages for next-day deliveries.
- Report potentially short-dated stock to customers and seek advice.
- Deal with customer stock queries in a professional manner.
- Assist with stock checks and empty pallets.
- Ensure all product transfers are communicated promptly.
Requirements
- A clear-thinking, logical, and disciplined approach to work.
- Extreme levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including working knowledge of spreadsheets.
- Problem-solving and tenacity in pursuing answers.
- Some stock control experience is desirable.
- Effective communication skills.
