About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic support professional to join our team at an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Wilmslow. The successful candidate will provide essential support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they have equal access to the curriculum and can thrive in the school environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young people, particularly those with special educational needs. They will also have relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential). As a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning experience.

  • Support students with a range of special educational needs, such as autism, learning difficulties, or sensory impairments.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group assistance to help students achieve their learning objectives.
  • Monitor student progress and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Manage behavior in line with school policies, using a positive and proactive approach.

  • Someone who is available full-time from January until the end of the academic year.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £46,500 - £55,000 per annum (equivalent to £419.25 - £500 per week) facilitated by Teaching Personnel.
