Clinical Deputy Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical) to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our care teams across various locations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel across the region to manage and develop care teams in various care homes
- Implement action plans to ensure resident needs are met, working closely with the General Manager or hiring manager
- Take on leadership duties in the absence of the General Manager, helping with care standards, team motivation, and regulatory compliance
- Lead by example, monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and checking regulatory compliance
- Develop and deliver strategies to achieve goals, setting the highest standards and drawing on skills and experience
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. Previous experience in a nursing home setting is essential, as is evidence of continual professional development. You should also have experience in helping residents with different health needs, managing safeguarding investigations, and clinical risk assessments. Additionally, you will need to have some HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, an understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration
