Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Specialty Doctor to join our Sussex-wide team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality specialist clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with eating disorders and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist clinical assessments, including psychiatric and physical investigations, to children and young people with eating disorders.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to develop and deliver individually tailored treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the service's participation strategy, involving patients and their carers in service decision-making and planning.
- Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to the improvement of the service.
- 4 years of full-time postgraduate training or higher, or equivalent experience with at least 2 years in a specialty training programme relevant to young people with eating disorders.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
- Additional clinical qualifications.
We offer a competitive salary of £59,175 to £95,400 per year (pro rata for part-time working) and a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.
