About the Role:

Finance Officer: Less Common Metals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven track record of providing financial support to businesses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, managing cash flow, and preparing financial reports for management and shareholders. They will also be responsible for overseeing all accounting processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.

In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, including preparation of financial reports and analysis of business performance.
  • Oversee all accounting processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors.
  • Provide financial support to the management team, including preparation of financial reports and analysis of business performance.
Requirements:
  • Relevant accounting and finance qualifications, such as ACCA or CIMA.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
