We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HMP Winchester, a Category B Local remand prison in Central Winchester. About the RoleThis is a bank pharmacy technician role, working on a rota basis to support the daily regime. You will be required to work nights, bank holidays, and weekends, although we can discuss flexibility at interview. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy services, with experience working in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of Pharmacy Services, including medicine management, administering medications, and patient counselling.
- Work on the prison wings, participating in activities concerning the day-to-day operational management of the unit.
- Undertake risk assessments and demonstrate assessment skills, treating patients with respect and dignity at all times.
