About the Role

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Outpatient Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of pharmacy services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the provision of pharmaceutical services, including dispensing and issuing prescriptions, and providing advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy dispensers to ensure all pharmacy duties are carried out in accordance with legal guidelines and departmental procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Utilize computer systems for dispensing, stock control, and word processing to ensure efficient and accurate pharmacy services.

Requirements

  • Registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Accuracy checking pharmacy technician qualification.
  • Previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
