Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will contribute to the provision of pharmaceutical services in our Outpatient Pharmacy Department, including issuing prescriptions, providing advice, and working collaboratively with Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
A hospital pharmacy background or community pharmacy experience is desirable, but further training and development will be provided to ensure the right candidate thrives in this role.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, candidates must have successfully achieved the relevant units of pharmacy services skills NVQ level 2 (QCF) or an equivalent GPhC accredited training programme.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a strong ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for someone who is registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician, has excellent computer literacy, and possesses previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy.
Prioritising the needs of our patients and colleagues, maintaining a portfolio of practice to fulfil mandatory continuing professional development, and having a good attendance record are essential qualities for this role.
