Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to lead and deliver Clinical Pharmacy services in our Family Services Directorate. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide an advanced clinical pharmacist service within the Family Services Directorate, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Lead and develop relevant clinical/pharmaceutical audit and research projects.
  • To provide expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and other members of the team.
  • To manage and supervise the duties of Pharmacists, Pre-registration Pharmacists, and ward support technicians within the clinical team.
  • To support the medicines information services and training pharmacy staff to deliver these services.

Requirements

  • A vocational Master's degree in Pharmacy plus pre-registration training resulting in registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification or proven level of equivalent experience.
