We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Torbay and South Devon. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological input to neurodiverse children and young people, their families, and professional networks.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work within our highly skilled and innovative multi-disciplinary Neurodiversity Pathway across Devon. You will be part of a team that is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people, and you will have the opportunity to work with a range of professionals, including Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Psychiatry, Occupational Therapy, and Mental Health Practitioners.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake complex assessments and deliver evidence-based and outcome-monitored psychological therapies to neurodiverse children and young people.
- Collaborate with other pathways to support the most effective approach for children and young people to have consistent experiences of care.
- Provide teaching and training to colleagues and other professionals.
- Contribute to the development of others, including supervision and training, as well as clinical leadership skills to contribute to quality improvement and service development.
- A Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Post-qualification specialist therapy/assessment training relevant to children and young people.
- Post-qualification training or proven equivalent experience in supervision.
