Housing Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housing Support Specialist to join our team in Cardiff.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals experiencing difficulties with their tenancies. As a Housing Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advice, support, motivation, crisis intervention, and future planning to service users.

About the Role

Your aim will be to ensure that every client achieves independence and meets their individual needs. Key responsibilities include undertaking assessments and casework with clients seeking support or resettlement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop positive working relationships with clients to facilitate the best possible outcomes.
  • Address issues of social isolation and exclusion.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have experience as a tenancy support worker, knowledge of current welfare and housing benefits, and the ability to drive and have access to your own vehicle.

What We Offer

As a Housing Support Specialist with Vetro Recruitment, you will receive a competitive salary of £12,822 - £14,000 per annum, inclusive of holiday pay. You will also benefit from our comprehensive training package, opportunities for career development, and excellent rates of pay.

Location and Working Hours

This role is based in Cardiff and offers full-time temporary hours (37.5 hours per week). Due to the nature of the support, working from home may be an option.
