Job Title: Housing Support Professional

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Housing Support Professional. As an Accommodation Support Officer, you will play a crucial part in facilitating timely and safe discharges for vulnerable adults.

In this position, you will work collaboratively with local authorities, health partners, and third sector organizations to provide tailored support and advice to individuals. Your expertise in income assessment, benefit maximization, and housing sector knowledge will be invaluable in ensuring that clients receive the best possible outcomes.

  • You will need to have experience working with vulnerable adults, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Welsh and Community Languages would be advantageous in providing culturally sensitive support services.
