Health and Social Care Teaching Opportunity

Teaching Personnel is seeking an exceptional Health and Social Care Teacher to work across various schools in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to delivering high-quality education in the field of health and social care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Health and Social Care at Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially Post-16 levels
  2. Diverse Learner Support: Adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of diverse learners and support student achievement
  3. Collaborative Working: Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  4. Student Progress Monitoring: Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help learners succeed

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications
  2. Subject Expertise: Expertise in Health and Social Care, with experience in delivering the subject at a secondary level
  3. Communication and Classroom Management: Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  4. Passion for Education: A passion for education and supporting young people's development
