As a Practitioner in Training with our Non-Religious Pastoral Support Network (NRPSN), you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in providing non-religious pastoral support to individuals in need.

Our team works collaboratively with Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care teams to provide like-minded support to people in difficult times. With over 300 trained pastoral carers and a presence in 9% of prisons and 30% of NHS Trusts, we are committed to expanding our services and reaching more people.

The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This role requires a minimum commitment of half a day a week to volunteering and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with religious colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering non-religious pastoral support to individuals in need
  • Developing relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
