Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. in Boston. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our factory, producing high-quality ready-to-eat salads, prepared vegetables, and snacks for major retailers.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and maintain the work area to ensure a safe and clean environment, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Collaborate with the team to implement and maintain SOPs, ensuring all daily machine safety checks are completed accurately and on time.
- Oversee the production process, monitoring packs per minute (PPM) and ensuring products meet quality standards.
- Perform product changeovers efficiently, with minimal downtime, and in a safe and accurate manner.
- Liaise with Line Leaders and engineers to report any issues or concerns, providing clear and concise information.
- Adhere to 'World Class' standards at all times, maintaining a high level of quality and productivity.
- Previous experience working with SOPs and in a food factory environment, preferably in the salad industry.
- Good level of English and Maths literacy.
- Basic understanding of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
