Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. in Boston. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, maintaining a safe working environment, and adhering to high standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and maintain the work area to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Conduct daily machine safety checks and record results
- Monitor and record production rates and product quality
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient product changeovers and minimal downtime
- Liaise with Line Leaders and engineers to report any issues or concerns
- Adhere to World Class standards at all times
- Previous experience in a food factory environment, preferably in salads production
- Good level of English and Maths literacy
- Basic understanding of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
