The Role

We're seeking a Machine Operator to join our team in Boston. As a Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for ensuring the workplace is safe and all machinery is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor the work area to ensure a safe working environment and maintain machinery cleanliness.
  • Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
  • Complete daily machine safety checks and record packs per minute (PPM) on machines.
  • Oversee product changeovers with minimal downtime and ensure accurate labeling and packaging.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure all necessary materials are available and ready for use.
  • Liaise with Line Leaders and engineers to report any issues or concerns.
  • Adhere to 'World Class' standards at all times.
Requirements
  • Previous experience with SOPs and working in a food factory (ideally salads).
  • Good level of English and Maths.
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
