We are seeking a highly skilled Product Consultant to join our team in Manchester or Nottingham, UK. As a Product Consultant, you will play a crucial role in working with customers to enable them to get the best use out of our Product Portfolio.
About the Role- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the Axiell ALM Product Set, including configuration requirements and limitations.
- Provide consultancy to customers on data migration, including analysis, mappings, and specifications.
- Deliver developments and configurations of web-related products.
- Work closely with Project Managers to plan, schedule, and execute work assigned.
- Carry out QA testing to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with the Development team to provide feedback on products and customer wish lists.
- Recognise Request for Enhancements and ensure they are clearly categorised and documented.
- Monitor project scope and ensure out-of-scope requests are raised with the Project Manager.
- Contribute to building and maintaining strong customer relationships and satisfaction through clear and frequent communication.
We are looking for a problem-solving team player with excellent social skills, a willingness to plan, prioritise, and influence the team with ideas and solutions. You should be comfortable working with technology and able to gain a good understanding of software configurations.
Essential skills include:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a demanding project delivery and/or data/collections management environment, ideally within a software company.
- Comfortable working with technology and able to gain a good understanding of software configurations.
- Exposure to data migration work and associated technology.
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload and adjust to changing priorities.
- Well-organised and able to meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer-facing skills and experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem solver with a structured, methodological approach.
- Self-motivated and resourceful, willing to take ownership of challenging situations.
- Great team player, but also capable of independent working.
- Fluent in English, written and oral.
Desirable skills include experience working with/studying the archive, museum, or library sector, familiarity with Agile project management methods, and knowledge of Javascript, C#, HTML, CSS, SQL server, Windows Active Directory, or other database technologies or programming languages.
