Job Title: Lead Mechanical Design and Analysis Engineer

Premier Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Design and Analysis Engineer to join our team in Slough. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of mechanical systems and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and products, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design and analysis align with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve design and analysis processes.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis, with a strong background in CAD software such as SolidWorks and Inventor.
  • Experience working with medical devices or in a related industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding and ability to design and analyze complex mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and able to create high-quality technical documentation.
