Job Title: Head of UI/UX Design

Amazon is seeking a seasoned design leader to spearhead the development of innovative user experiences for our growing payments business. As Head of UI/UX Design, you will be responsible for crafting a vision for user experience design across multiple products and platforms, guiding teams to understand customer needs through market analysis and customer research, and collaborating with senior leaders from Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and communicate the user experience design vision for multiple products across platforms.
  • Lead teams to understand customer needs through market analysis and customer research.
  • Support the design team with planning, prioritizing, and overseeing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders from Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering.
Requirements:
  • Experience in design, with a focus on user experience.
  • Experience leading design teams, with a proven track record of delivering innovative products.
  • Knowledge of user experience principles and techniques.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and lead complex projects from concept to delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design.
  • Experience leading design in the financial services industry.
