Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Job Summary:

Nelson Permanent Placements is representing a reputable international manufacturing business in search of an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, minimizing risks and adhering to health and safety regulations.

* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

* Conduct routine site tours to ensure all safety, fire, security, and environmental standards are being met.

* Collaborate with operational teams to ensure EHS standards are met and to support the promotion of EHS improvements.

* Analyze performance data and KPIs against defined parameters and ensure alignment to the business SDPs and TTIs.

Requirements:

* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.

* Min 3-5 years' experience in a EHS field, preferably in a similar environment.

* Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
