Women's First Team Player Support Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Performance & Wellbeing team as an Elite Player Care Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our women's first team players and families, providing a high-quality player care experience that supports their wellbeing and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a holistic player care programme that meets the needs of our women's first team players and families.
- Provide wellbeing support and guidance to players, including mental health and performance coaching.
- Work closely with the Performance & Wellbeing team to ensure a seamless player care experience.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with players, representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all players receive a high-quality on-boarding process into the club.
- Experience in a player care or wellbeing role, preferably in a football or sports environment.
- Strong understanding of the support required of professional athletes, including developmental, emotional, social, and educational challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion in a player care role.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
