Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Nurse Manager to set up new care packages for clients with complex care needs.
  • Maintain regular shifts within your client caseload, ensuring seamless delivery of care services.
  • Develop familiarity with each client's requirements and provide personalized care according to their care plan.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to review and update clients' care plans, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Identify staffing gaps and engage in recruitment processes, introducing new hires to clients as needed.
  • Mentor support workers, conduct observations, and identify training needs to enhance their skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of care and supervisory activities, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Prioritize the best interests of clients, monitoring satisfaction levels and escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Produce monthly reports on client satisfaction and care outcomes, informing improvements to our services.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions, including achieving a QCF Level 3 diploma within two years of employment.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
  • Commit to attaining a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care within two years of joining Superior Healthcare, which will be funded by the company.
  • Demonstrate previous experience working with individuals who have disabilities and complex health needs, such as tracheostomies, ventilators (BiPAP/CPAP), gastrostomy tubes, and bowel management care.
